AI deep research and decision analysis

Both features use the reasoning AI allowance (10M credits a month on Pro). See AI usage.

AI deep research

For topics one question can't cover, the AI plans the research, finds and reads many documents, and writes it up as a report.

1. Open AI deep research in the sidebar.
2. Describe what to research. Example: "How maintenance contract prices changed over the last 3 years, and why"
3. Select "Start research". It takes a few minutes, and you can keep working meanwhile.
4. Every point in the report links to its source documents.

AI decision analysis

Compares your options using evidence from your documents.

1. Sidebar AI decisions › "Start a new decision"
2. Enter the type and the question. Example: "Choose a server replacement vendor"
3. Set criteria and weights. Example: price 40 · delivery 30 · maintenance 30
4. Select "Start analysis" to get scores per option, risks and source documents.

Good to know

• Results support your judgment. Check the source documents before you decide.
• Decision analysis works only in cloud AI mode. It's unavailable when Settings › AI › Mode is set to search only.
• Limiting the scope to a project makes it faster and more accurate. See Projects.
